HS Fall Sports
Get ready for fall sports
- Registration for Fall Sports opens on Aug. 1.
- Student-athletes involved in a high school sport should anticipate practicing six days per week, including non-school days and Saturdays.
- Non-school days include teacher workshop days, winter break, spring break, summer break and some holidays.
- Individual head coaches determine the attendance policy, team placement and contest participation for their student-athletes.
- To be eligible to compete at the varsity level, students must be registered electronically by the fourth Monday of the season.
- To be eligible to participate in tryouts, student-athletes must be registered before the first day of the season.
- A current Sports Qualifying Physical Exam is required for all student-athletes in order to be eligible to register. SQPE's are good for three years from the date of the exam and may not expire during the season for which you are registering.

Adapted Soccer - Co-Ed
Who: Co-Ed Grades 7-12 - $126.50

Practice Schedule: 3 - 4:30 p.m. on school days.

Equipment Needed: Soccer Shin Guards, Tennis Shoes, Shorts, T-Shirt
This is a co-op team with Mahtomedi High School, with practices being held at Stillwater Area High School. A co-ed team, there are varsity and junior varsity lineups with no tryouts required.
Student-athletes should be prepared to participate in practice and competitions Monday through Saturday including non-school days and some holidays.

Bowling

Practice Schedule: Monday and Wednesdays 4 - 5:30 p.m. at Stillwater Bowl
Equipment Needed: Bowling Ball & Shoes (Recommended, not required). Dress slacks or skort required for competition.
Additional Team Fee: Up to $150
Minnesota High School bowling is a co-ed activity in the fall. Minnesota High School Bowling is administered by the Bowling Proprietors Associations of Minnesota (BPAM) and is governed by a set of rules that have been modeled after those of the Minnesota State High School League. The SAHS Bowling team competes in the Metro East Conference. All students with minimum knowledge of bowling are welcome to join and members are eligible to earn a varsity letter.

Cross Country - Boys
Who: Grades 9-12 - $198

Practice Schedule: 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on school days (SAHS Track unless otherwise communicated) and 9-11 a.m. on non-school days and Saturdays (Stillwater Middle School Track).

This program is run through the Edge Martial Arts. The martial arts program is not just to defend yourself but also a way to develop discipline, perseverance, respect, humility, sportsmanship, and confidence. These life skills will transfer to everyday life whether it be academic, social, or career driven.

Varsity: 5-7 p.m. on school days and non-school days, and 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
JV/B: 4 - 6 p.m. on school days.
Grade 9 Team: 3 - 5 p.m. on school days.
The varsity team is composed of the top-22 players in the program, while junior varsity is made up of Grade 11 and 12 players (with select student-athletes in Grade 10), who are not placed on varsity. The JV2 team are Grade 9 and 10 players who are not placed on Varsity or JV, while the B Team are Grade 10 and 11 players not placed on Varsity, JV, or JV2. The Grade 9 team are players not placed on Varsity or JV2.

NOTE: District shuttle buses provide transportation from Oak-Land Middle School and Stillwater Area High School to Stillwater Middle School for practice.

Red tops have been ordered for this season's uniforms. Student-athletes are expected to supply their own black skirts. The Lululemon Pace Rival Skirt is recommended, however a different black tennis skirt or black shorts work as well.
